A graphic pattern can give the illusion of texture; and texture in the right lighting becomes very graphic.

My new "Interlace Series" combines those two related visual elements by incorporating linear strips of high luster synthetics with an opalescent ink, silkscreen printed graphic.
 

I'm interested in that visual interplay between the textures of the interlaced or folded layers and the abstract, organic 

graphic, as well as the variations on luster, and the illusion of depth achieved by an elemental version of my signature layering technique.

These pieces can all be hung in a vertical or horizontal orientation.
