These abstract silk pieces pick up from where the Water Series had evolved, but with a re-emphasis on the naturally occurring textural element of my technique.  Here I'm primarily interested in color juxtaposition, simultaneous contrast, and a lit-from-within color luminescence in addition to the deep textures.   Various pixel-like or halftone-like grids of irregularly colored dots are characteristic of much of this series.
